Lawyers - don't leave home without one

Particularly if you fall off your bike. Overlawyered refers us to the case of a Canadian lawyer who came a cropper while mountain biking and is seeking recompense. The fact that he is litigating may be considered bad form, but the insurance consequences on the voluntary bodies who manage many of the trails may be prohibitive.
There are lessons here for Scotland and our new access regime - although the good old Scots legal principle of volenti non fit injuria should rule out most claims.
